Electrophoresis System

The electrophoresis systems that we provide are entirely self-contained and were developed for doing rapid examinations on samples. All three processes—casting gel, running the gel, and doing analysis—are carried out by the same highly compact device. Since buffer and gel quantities have been reduced as much as possible, and because the parallel electrode layout enables extremely efficient current flow, the resolution process may be finished in less than half an hour. The UV transparent base enables direct viewing on a UV Transilluminator, eliminating the need for time-consuming transfer as well as the possibility of damaging the gel. Dual comb slots enable the loading of as many as forty samples onto a single gel, and multichannel pipette compatible combs further improve both the speed and ease of the process. The electrophoresis systems separate mixtures of DNA, RNA, and proteins according to the sizes of the molecules, and they are capable of operating several gels at the same time. After a direct application of a uniform charge, molecules of varying sizes are forced through a porous gel at varied speeds according to the size of the molecule. The apparatus was developed solely for the purpose of producing bands devoid of smiling in order to facilitate clear conclusion. Researchers are able to alter the gel location to fulfil the requirements of individual tests thanks to the availability of formats that are both vertical and horizontal.
